Marie Louise Martin, an Irish Printmaker, and Hazel Trivelli, an English painter, have met and made homes in Radicondoli. This is the first time they have exhibited together.

Hazel's paintings are a journey into the unknown... there is of course a starting point, random marks and colours, then a glimpse, a memory, a beloved fragment and then by and by the painting takes form: the images find their place. In this way the process of painting is unpredictable and wondrous.

Marie-Louise's prints also recall transition and journeying. She presents here a selection of drawings and prints made since first coming to Radicondoli. The art of a printmaker and the work that is done to realise the final print is deeply connected to process - each print is the end of a long road from drawing to edition.
